About the Recipe
Store-bought moisturizers and serums often contain preservatives, silicones, synthetic fragrances, and fillers that can clog pores, irritate sensitive skin, and disrupt your skin’s natural balance. Facial oils are a simple, effective way to nourish your skin with pure, plant-based ingredients—no harsh chemicals required.
When formulated properly, facial oils can deliver deep, lasting hydration while helping to restore your skin’s natural moisture barrier. This hydrating serum is designed to replenish dry, depleted skin—leaving it soft, smooth, and radiant without feeling heavy or greasy.

Pro Tips
Make it last longer – Add 5–10 drops of vitamin E oil to your blend. Vitamin E acts as a natural preservative and provides antioxidant benefits that support skin repair and protect from environmental damage.
Massage it in – Spend a minute gently massaging the oil into your skin to stimulate circulation and boost absorption.
Test and tweak – Everyone’s skin is different! If your skin feels too oily or not hydrated enough, adjust the ratios by adding more of the base oil (jojoba or sweet almond) or reducing the castor oil.
